Technician, Spinner Shop - Lead

  • Set up fixtures/tooling for the machines
  • Write new programs or change programs for the machines for the development of new products / processes
  • Troubleshoot problems with the machines to identify quality and productivity issues
  • Operate machines for machining, balancing, and drilling
  • Perform visual inspection and measurement process of incoming castings to verify their quality
  • Perform preventative and non-preventative maintenance on the machines
  • Handle waste materials from the processes
  • Receive incoming packages and prepare and ship packages for shipment
  • Provide support to sister shop in Belgium and Albion, MI



  • Minimum two (2) years’ CNC or Robotics experience preferred

Special Tools/Equipment Used:

  • Computer
  • Phone
  • Haas CNC mill
  • Various precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.)

Physical Demands:

  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to forty (40) pounds
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk and reach with hands and arms
  • Regularly required to stand for long periods of time

Working Conditions:

  • Regularly exposed to a fast-paced environment
  • Moderate noise level
  • May be exposed to dusty conditions
