Manager, Builder Direct

Ab Electrolux Austin, TX (Onsite) Full-Time

Responsible for overseeing Builder Account Managers in a specified geographical area providing guidance, training and leadership to direct reports driving results. This position will be strongly focused on people management, Direct execution portfolio administration and customer facing relationship development. This position will work under general supervision and require extensive travel within the assigned area and reports to the Director of Contract Direct Sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned Builder Account Managers including administer KPI/development plans, conduct talent reviews, monthly 1:1 connections, training, market visits.
  • Direct Execution Management – Hold team accountable adhering to Direct policies and procedures, escalation point for all Multi-family and Single-Family concerns within territory, field site visits, customer meetings, Customer QBR’s, Division roll outs, territory coverage for vacations etc.
  • Work with Director providing feedback for all assigned Builder Account Managers and customers.
  • Report management – create reports and hold team accountable to effectively monitor and successfully manage business while maintaining visibility to key items.
  • Cross functional team collaboration – work with cross functional teams including A/R, Final Mile, Warranty Service, Customer Direct Team, Risk Management & Sales Operations ensuring opportunities are addressed to keep the business moving forward ensuring alignment across the team for assigned accounts.
  • Work closely with National Account Managers as it relates to their specific business execution needs and keep communication lines open.
  • Change order management, reviewing and signing change orders in accordance with policy.
  • Assist Director with special projects and yearly team meetings.
  • Drive continuous improvement culture within the team.
  • Represent Electrolux Major Appliances at trade and industry shows.
  • Control personal business expenses and submit timely expense reports.
  • Extensive travel will be required within assigned geographical area.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors’ degree required
  • Previous team management experience preferred
  • 9+ years of relevant field sales experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Mature and balanced approach
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of various sales concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Working knowledge of the indoor appliances industry preferred
  • Merchandising experience preferred
