Designs, develops, and tests hardware and/or electrical components, mechanisms, materials, circuitry, processes, etc. Prepares technical and progress reports on assigned projects. Prepares specifications, evaluates vendors, and analyzes test reports. Incumbents typically have a BS/MS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or other related technical field.
* Demonstrates advanced subject matter expertise in PCB design.
* Contributes to and may lead the planning and implementation of large PCB designs, and regularly interfaces with senior management and executive leadership.
* Creates schematic and PCB library parts
* Creates schematics for new PCB designs including digital, analog, and RF circuitry.
* Creates layouts of new PCB designs following industry practices to ensure circuit function, reliability, and ease of manufacture.
* Interfaces with PCB vendors to ensure manufacturability and timely procurement of PCB boards and completed assemblies.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Bachelor's degree and typically 8+ years of related professional experience.
US Citizenship and eligible for a security clearance.
Top Secret-SCI w/ Full Scope Poly
Experience with Altium Designer software
Experience with Signals Processing
