Twin City Foods Inc. began as a small frozen vegetable processing company in Stanwood, WA in 1943. Twin City Foods has grown to become one of the nation’s largest independent processors of frozen vegetables. For over 75 years, Twin City Foods has been committed to growing, harvesting, processing, freezing, packaging, and distributing the highest quality quick frozen vegetable (IQF) products. We currently have an Electrician position available in our facility in Pasco, WA.  

 

As a Twin City Foods (Pasco Division) Electrician your main purpose would be to maintain all electrical applications plant-wide.

 

Electrician should have experience in:

 

•  Industrial/Electrical trade

•  Motor controls

•  Motor and drive installations

•  PLC’s

•  Process Instrumentation

•  Conduit bending and troubleshooting 24-480 volt systems

•  Must have knowledge of NEC

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of electrical theory, practices, procedures, equipment, tools and materials.
  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of packaging, processing and facility electrical systems.
  • Understand the National Electrical Code, state and local electric codes and ordinances.
  • Install, repair and perform maintenance of conduits, high and low voltage systems, lighting circuits, panel, regulators, emergency power generators, transformers, relay, circuit breakers, switch boxes, and related electrical fixtures and equipment within the facility per code.
  • Observes and interprets meters and gauges and performs electrical system repair of boilers, refrigeration and auxiliary equipment.
  • Monitors/inspects the facility for electrical/mechanical problems and/or equipment malfunctions.
  • Maintains departmental maintenance records and logs.
  • Notifies supervisory personnel of conditions affecting operation of equipment or safety of staff.
  • Helps maintain general cleanliness of maintenance/electrical areas.
  • Works shifts and overtime as required.
  • Attends meetings, conferences, workshops and training sessions/courses to become and remain current with required electrical licensing/code changes, principles, practices and current trends in the industry.

*Possession of a valid Washington State Journeyman’s Electrician License.*
