What we need: 

One of Mohawk’s core values is perpetual innovation, and we are looking for a Director SAP Transformation to direct strategic, long-range, complex, and diverse Procure to Pay projects in SAP that span the organization and have direct and high organizational impact.  This role will lead the process to implement rapid project execution methodologies such as SCRUM/AGILE, which drive the culture of Succeed or Fail FAST.  

What you’ll do: 

  • Identify transformation opportunities within our end-to-end procurement processes and champion the development of standard practices and is the functional global process owner for Procure to Pay 

  • Streamline best practices and procedures supporting Indirect and Direct Procurement as well as finished goods

  • Oversee, monitor, plan, direct and/or coordinate multiple activities and projects simultaneously to ensure that project goals are accomplished and aligned with business objectives, within prescribed timeframe and funding parameters 

  • Manage the team responsible for searching for creative ways to elevate the capabilities of process and technology to meet business needs, partly by capitalizing on emerging technologies and partly by adapting technologies to the needs of the customer and developing and executing process mapping, test scripts and user acceptance testing 

  • Collaborate with executive committee, steering committee, VP of Supply Chain, BU CIO, user community and technologists to translate generalized and customer business goals and objectives into concrete strategic and tactical plans, determining how technology might assist in address business needs 

  • Proactively review and interpret performance against operating plans and standards and provide information and reports to subordinates on interpretation of results  

  • Be the change agent and lead the process development to implement rapid project execution methodologies such as SCRUM and AGILE to drive the culture of Succeed or Fail FAST 

What you have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Statistics or related field (master’s degree a plus) 

  • 10+ years job specific operational work experience with demonstrated professional growth and achievement 

  • 5+ years of project experience in a complex business environment involving diverse business issues in an organization of comparable size and scope 

  • Experience with Advanced Procurement System (SAP ECC or S4, Ariba, Tungsten) (Operational Procurement experience strongly recommended)

  • Exercising independent judgment and demonstrating solid time management and organizational skills, including the ability to meet tight deadlines and schedules with a willingness to accept responsibility  

  • Achieving results through team efforts, challenging established practices, taking reasonable risks and drawing relevant conclusions  

  • Leading, advising and developing a high performing, diverse work group that uses creative solutions to meet business needs
