Global Account Manager Job Description

Key Responsibilities The Remote Global Account Manager is responsible for building strong customer relationships in the field and ensuring a great customer experience with existing and potential key customers in the packaging industry in order to achieve collaborative value creation .

  • Develop a deep understanding of customers business and solution requirements

  • Gain share of wallet/spend across Esko portfolio of packaging solutions; Digital Flexo, Software, Inspection technology and professional service to secure global account budgets.

  • Manage global & key accounts, including account planning and sales forecasting and engaging cross-functional resources and working with regional sales, product management and support functions to ensure alignment across the organizations

  • Work together with marketing to identify the right campaigns for the accounts and follow up on created opportunities with the regional sales team

  • Customarily and regularly engage with decision makers at client facilities

  • Provide sales leadership and experience on large, complex sales opportunities

  • Negotiate and establish global frame agreements and group contracts

    Essential Requirements

  • Extensive experience selling technology solutions where you were recognized as a top performer

  • World-class customer management and strategic selling skills to enhance the success of our customers business and the growth of Esko

  • Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems

  • Ability to listen in order to assimilate client issues, needs and opportunities.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation and executive presentation skills

  • Ability to provide insight and thought leadership to senior/CIO/CXO leadership and next 2 levels down

  • Highly developed planning and organization skills and entrepreneurial mindset

  • Prior Global account management or prior industry experience is a MUS

  • Deep expertise of market trends that impact Esko customers

  • Bachelors Degree (BSc/BA) or equivalent experience

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 40%

  • Fluent in English

  • Location = North America

  • operate across regions and across product lines, looking after the entire portfolio of the customer

  • be in the frontline to help our global accounts improve their digital maturity and guide them in their digital transformation journey

  • be surrounded by a dedicated team of experts that will help and guide you
