The Microbiology Clinical Lab Tech will collaborate with the Medical Laboratory team, and perform a variety of testing on blood, body fluids and exudates to provide information used to diagnose diseases. The ideal Medical Technology Specialist will be certified and understand the laboratory and hospital safety policies, equipment, safety requirements and guidelines and maintain technical competency.

The Microbiology Hospital Laboratory Technician ASCP will need to prioritize patient testing during times of peak workload to ensure timely reporting and workflow.
