A Retail Solutions company is looking to add to their sales team to accommodate increased demand for memberships and services!
This is a sales role - candidate will be talking with prospective and current members over 50%-75% of the time. Responsible for recruiting and onboarding new member organizations by leading an account through the full sales life cycle, from lead to close.
•Minimum of 3-5 years sales experience (outside, B2B, or inside sales)
•Experience in association sales preferred by not required
•Must possess strong initiative and be results oriented with the ability to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial goals
•Must gain 2 new clients per week, minimally
•Candidate must be a self-starter, persuasive, and able to work well independently. After training, but freedom is given to sales candidates to own their business
Overview of Responsibilities:
•Identify, cultivate, and acquire new member companies
•Sell memberships - including the closing of small and large sales
•Develop and qualify leads by researching companies and industry trends
•Follow up on existing leads, as well as those obtained at events and by referral
•Systematic follow-up and documentation of membership sales process, including prospects, opportunities, and contract
