Pricing Manager (Remote, North America)

Summary of the role: This role will be responsible for assisting in driving the definition and ongoing improvement of the company's pricing strategy while handling the day-to-day operations supporting the execution of that strategy. The role will also be directly influencing the number of new sales generated by helping to define various quarterly sales campaigns and promotions. A successful candidate will have a high drive to win & ideally have prior pricing experience in an enterprise software or SaaS environment and/or management consulting, as it will be important to build credibility quickly. This role will collaborate with members of a variety of departments, and external parties. What you will be doing/Responsibilities and Duties: Manage the special pricing requests and exceptions, including escalations and feedback loop Analyze price change request from the sales team by evaluating margin impact, potential incremental volume, and competitor price levels. Design & enforce Delegation of Authority to drive desired discounting behavior. Educate & enable sales teams on best practices. Work with sales leaders to proactively identify opportunities where unique pricing or monetization models can be used to improve deal velocity, increase market penetration, or improve profitability Evaluate feasibility and margin impact of various quarterly sales campaigns and promotions. Drive the development and implementation of an effective company pricing strategy, collaborating with C-Suite team members, external advisors, and other stakeholders. Analyze results & provide meaningful insights to drive continued improvement. Build data models to analyze the impact of various pricing-related decisions. Own the company's Product Master, including pricing, packaging & offering structure. Define KPIs and generate reports on price performance. Requirements Who you are/Qualifications and Skills: 3+ years of demonstrated ability to create pricing strategies while collaborating with a variety of department levels, preferably in the Enterprise Software, SaaS, or management consulting space Someone who has a growth and development mindset around processes and strategies (willingness to brainstorm and share ideas - work in a partnership within the team) Someone who takes ownership in their work and who is proactive with follow up and project management Strong communication & presentation skills Creative problem-solver that can craft win/win solutions Well versed in analyzing data and deriving insights Ability to use data analysis and visualization tools (Example: Excel and Power BI), SQL is a plus Benefits Why M-Files?
