Rivendell Behavioral Health Services of Arkansas is seeking a dynamic Program Therapist for per diem/as needed status. Weekdays and/or Weekends
Program Therapists provides Social Service activities and specific treatment goals to targeted patient population as delegated by the Social Services Supervisor and/or Director of Clinical Services. The Program Therapist will be responsible for formulating clearly defined goals and objectives as evidenced by writing goals that reflect the patient’s presenting problems as seen in the assessments, accurately chart patient’s progress specific to the treatment goals, and present treatment plans and updates in a timely manner, per hospital guidelines. The Program Therapist must demonstrate knowledge of developmental tasks for children/adolescents and adults. Program Therapists will meet regularly with program staff and Director of Clinical Services. Must be willing to treat all patients with respect and work as a TEAM with all staff/coworkers.Job Requirements
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Counseling Psychology from an accredited university. A minimum of two years psychiatric treatment experience is preferred along with experience in individual, group, and family therapy. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and Arkansas laws governing services to children, adolescent and adults preferred. A basic knowledge of educational, psychological and social service systems as related to special education and behavior treatment preferred. CPR /First Aid and verbal de-escalation training required and provided upon hire.
