Equipment Engineer II - LTE Cell Sites - Irving TX (hybrid)

You will work in the Central Texas Network Equipment Engineering team which is responsible for managing the Purchase Orders, material releases of wireless network equipment (i.e. 4G LTE cell site) once created, on through implementation.

What you will be doing as an Equipment Engineer II:
  • You will oversee equipment tracking, reporting, and other compliance activities within the network function as well as interfacing with peer teams to ensure success while completing a large volume of complex projects
  • Work directly with the Equipment Engineers after the creation of POs to review closeout packages (COP's) and assist with driving quality and accuracy of the installation of equipment by vendors
  • Manage POs (PeopleSoft) to ensure that they are aligned with project implementation timelines, due dates, receiving, vendor invoicing, and tracking for SOX compliance
  • Manage vendor relationships to confirm that equipment is delivered and received timely and accordance with company compliance guidelines
  • Utilize project tracking tools (Site tracker and FUZE) to accurately document equipment orders, schedules, and installation completions
  • Utilize equipment tracking tools (CATS, FUZE)

What you will bring to the table an Equipment Engineer II:
  • 3+ years' experience managing POs for wireless network implementation projects
  • SME in Wireless/Cellular/Telecom equipment technologies
  • Understanding of 4G LTE technology, Nokia experience preferred
  • Proficient at G-Suite, MS Excel, and MS Office
  • Demonstrated strong ability to coordinate
