Job Description:

Bank of America is seeking an associate to join the Consumer Operations team within Global Risk Analytics (GRA); GRA is a centralized Quantitative and Analytical team focused on enabling effective Risk and Capital management across the enterprise; the Model Operations team within GRA currently has a role open focused on data provisioning for model production and development.

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to, the following:

* Execute monthly/quarterly data provisioning production processes which source data from Authorized Data Stores (ADS) and transform/derive data as needed by the models
* Perform and execute business controls during forecasting cycles and monitor and remediate incoming data issues
* Maintain and develop any new code/processes necessary to support data sourcing for model production
* Supports development and production of GRA Data Quality Controls dashboards, management reports, and ad hoc reporting
* Seek continuous process improvement, efficiency, and automation
* Respond to data related requests and ad hoc queries from business partners in timely fashion
* Work independently on projects with strict deadlines and ability to manage multiple tasks/projects
* Projects in consumer operations typically relate to:
* Working with business partners to support data needs for new model development
* New model implementation and testing
* Adoption of target state initiatives related to data and model execution
* Interface with a wide audience including team peers, senior management, model developers, model implementation, Forecast Administrators, project managers, and colleagues within the Lines of Business (LOB)

Required:

* Master's degree in a quantitative field preferred
* 3-5 years of quantitative finance experience
* Strong attitude for independent critical thinking
* Very hands-on and detail oriented, "can-do" attitude
* Analytical ability and problem-solving skills
* Ability to liaison with internal team members and other stakeholders in order to drive results and achieve goals
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Must have Intermediate to advanced experience with Teradata SQL and relational databases; any experience with Bacardi and/or credit card products preferred
* Additional experience to include; Hadoop HDFS, Vertica, Hive, Impala, Spark, Pyspark, Python, Unix/Linux
* 3-5 years of experience querying, analyzing and manipulating large database tables (databases with billions of rows of data)
* Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Desired Skills & Experience:

* Experience in a quantitative environment within financial services is preferred
* Experience in credit card products from a loss forecasting perspective
* Familiarity with CCAR, ALLL, CECL
* Mathematical/Statistical skills
