We are currently partnered up with a $50M Manufacturing Company in their search to add a Quality Manager to the team due to a retirement. This position will report into the COO and manage a team of 8 employees at the 150 employee manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of managerial experience, manufacturing, and ISO 9001 experience. Description

The Senior Quality Manager - Electronics Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001, IPC standards, or other relevant certifications.
  • Conduct regular audits (internal and external) to ensure compliance and address non-conformities promptly.
  • Manage documentation, including quality manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions
  • Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement in quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes for quality issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Establish and maintain processes for capturing and analyzing customer feedback and complaints.
  • Act as the primary contact for quality-related customer inquiries and audits.
  • Drive initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and product reliability.
  • Manage and mentor the QA team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss quality objectives, performance metrics, and improvement strategies.
  • Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to meet specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Stay up-to-date on technological advancements, quality tools, and industry trends to maintain competitive standards.

Profile

The ideal Senior Quality Manager - Electronics Manufacturing will have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field
  • Master's degree preferred but not required
  • 5+ years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Leadership & Managerial experience - ability to lead a team of 8 employees.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, CAPA).
  • Proficiency in quality management software and ERP systems.
  • Hands-on experience with electronic testing equipment and diagnostic tools

Job Offer

The successful Senior Quality Manager - Electronics Manufacturing will be rewarded with the following:

  • Base Salary of $100,000-$135,000 depending on experience
  • Bonus of up to 10%
