Location: Jackson, MS (locals only! no per diem!)

Pay: $17-$31 based upon experience
United Trades of America is looking for LOCAL APPRENTICE and JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIANS with COMMERCIAL EXPERIENCE
Job Description:
We are currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as an Apprentice OR Journeyman Electricians with commercial Experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical work, a solid understanding of conduit systems, and a passion for learning and advancing their skills in the electrical trade.
Responsibilities:
- Conduit Installation: Proficiently install, bend, and thread conduits of various types and sizes according to electrical specifications and project requirements.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret electrical drawings and blueprints to determine the layout and installation of conduit systems.
- Wiring and Termination: Assist in the wiring and termination of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with local codes and safety standards.
- Material Handling: Responsible for the proper handling and storage of electrical materials, tools, and equipment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with journeyman electricians and other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues, proposing effective solutions with attention to quality and efficiency.
- Continuous Learning: Actively seek opportunities for professional development and advancement within the electrical trade.
Qualifications:
- Experience: MUST have a MINIMUM of 4 years experience working in a commercial electrician environment
- Certifications: OSHA 10 or 30 certification is desirable.

Skills:
- Proficient in conduit bending, threading, and installation 1/2" to 1"
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic understanding of electrical codes and regulations.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, work in various weather conditions, and perform duties requiring physical strength and endurance.
- TOOLS: Must have hand tools and impact driver and proper PPE.
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG SCREEN AND BACKGROUND CHECK
