Our rapidly growing infectious diseases group provides inpatient and outpatient support for a multi-hospital academic health system. The faculty responsibilities in the Division of Infectious Diseases will be primarily inpatient infectious diseases consultations and outpatient infectious diseases clinics; teaching medical students, internal medicine residents, and infectious diseases fellows; and participation in mentoring and scholarship in the field. There is potential for roles in hospital epidemiology/infection prevention and control, antimicrobial stewardship, clinical microbiology, as well as basic and/or clinical research depending on qualifications and experience.
