A new and exciting opportunity has just opened up in Western Washington for an Assistant Medical Director to lead this busy Urgent Care Clinic. Join this strong health system and lead Ambulatory Emergency services to new heights!

The Acute Care Community Hospital at the heart of this health system has built a strong reputation in Western Washington for excellent patient care and outstanding services. This facility offers Emergency, Laboratory, Pediatric, Women’s Health Services, Diagnostic Imaging, and more. This Health System has been a staple of the community for many years, and the incoming Assistant Medical Director will play a large role in keeping it that way.

Reporting to the Emergency Services Medical Director, the Assistant Medical Director will act as the primary clinical operations leader for this busy Ambulatory Emergency Service Line. Reporting to the Urgent Care Asst. Medical Director, are 4 Providers with a wide range of backgrounds and specialties. One thing they all have in common is a passion for Emergency Medicine. 

This busy Urgent Care has provided much needed services to the community for over 20 years. The amazing team of Providers / Doctors here treat a wide array of cases from cuts and burns, to fevers and flu, to orthopedics. As the Assistant Medical Director, this person will oversee the team and will get to take patients as well. 

The Assistant Medical Director will play an important role acting as the liaison between the Urgent Care and Hospital to facilitate coordinated care for patients in the community. Along with patient care, the Assistant Medical Director will demonstrate clinical oversight of the Physicians and Providers, including day-to-day operations of the Clinic. 

As a Medical Leader, the Assistant Director will develop and implement quality assurance initiatives as part of the long-term strategic plan for the Clinic. As the organization moves toward a Value-Based Model, this person will have more and more opportunities to develop and nurture positive professional relationships both internally and across operational boundaries.

The Hospital is located outside the Greater Seattle Area. The Greater Seattle Area is famous for many reasons - you can check out Pike’s Place Market, the Seattle Art Museum, and the Seattle Symphony, all in a day’s walk. The Assistant Medical Director will find a lot of popular cafes and restaurants in the area which is perfect for a family trip day out. If you want to explore outside of the city, go hiking, biking, or boating in one of the many natural areas around this region. Take a delightful ferry ride across the calm waters and enjoy the scenic Puget Sound paradise, a collection of islands, attractions, and waterways. In addition to all this, there is  excellent housing, schools, and parks for families to enjoy.
