What Impact Will You Have In This Role:

As the Developer Success Advocate, you will be a strong technical leader with a deep and broad technology background in data management and software engineering that also has a strong skill set that aligns to customer engagement and satisfaction. You will use your leadership skills to help define the direction for the team, define roles needed, and hire for the organization.

What will you be doing day-to-day?

• Working with Product and Growth teams to determine our approach to developing and launching a formal Product Developer Community.

• Partnering with peer groups in the Customer Success organization as well as in Product, R&D, and Growth to determine the roadmap for what the Developer Success team will build, test, and promote to the Product Developer Community with a focus on the Developer persona.

• Determining how best to support the needs of the technical members of the Product Developer Community, having the Developer Success team serve as Subject Matter and / or Product Domain Experts (SMEs and DPDEs).

• Working as SMEs and DPDEs in pre and post sales opportunities

• Partnering with R&D as well as Professional Services to ensure whatever is developed in Developer Success uses the same tools and methods R&D uses.

• Own the full lifecycle of end-to-end solutions that are meaningful to our customer base - from concept, through research, design, test, and deployment to the Product Developer Community repository.

What technical skills are required to be successful in this role?

• BS in Computer Science, or commensurate work experience

• 3 to 5 years of technical leadership and team building / leading experience

• 3+ years of experience with Python, computer vision and / or natural language processing (NLP)

• 3+ years hands on experience developing in javascript

• Experience in relevant frameworks

• Experience in data management and manipulation

• Working knowledge of code management tools including branching theory and best practices
