Director, ISV Business Development

Drives the development and execution of sales strategies to have BDEs bring on ISVs/VARs/other channel partners to increase GRP and app count.
Maintains sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Continually researches and seeks out new technologies, new equipment and integration opportunities.
Maintains a strong pipeline of engaged, direct selling ISVs.
Assists team in executing partner agreements.
Manages/Reviews channel specific portfolios.
Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales goals.
Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
Implements customized new and innovative sales strategies/campaigns to increase business development.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Creates informative presentations; Presents and delivers information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences.
Coordinates business generation activities.
Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows, etc.
Attends face to face appointments frequently with the team, tradeshows, speaking engagements as needed.
Collaborates with management team on various sales initiatives, campaigns, trainings, etc.
Manages the daily operations of the team to ensure escalations, emails, voicemails, and staffing issues are handled in accordance with service level expectations.
Oversees tracking and reporting of performance to ensure team accountability and quality of service.
Collaborates with senior leadership on departmental financial guidelines and manage to budget.
Drives team excellence and a culture of building relationships while delighting customers and partners and internal stakeholders.
Meets regularly with direct reports via 1x1's to establish clear roles, directions and responsibilities and performance requirements.
Designs and manages personnel development programs to attract, develop and retain talent building a track record of developing leaders.
Provides product and sales trainings to team.
Attends certain trade shows where partners are present.
Meets or exceeds quotas personally and as a sales team.
Finds new ways to garner interest with the partners and presents ideas and information in a manner that gets others' attention.
Bachelor's degree required.
Proficient knowledge of CRM systems (IE: Sales Force).
5+ years payment industry experience.
10+ years managing sales teams.
Ability to create and deliver business reviews to Executives.
Ability to create and execute channel strategy and business plans for partners.
Ability to coach and enhanced the skillset of sales team and recognize opportunities for training.
Well organized with diligent follow up skills required.
Computer knowledge and typing skills.
Ability to maintain professionalism through all circumstances.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to treat others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.
Ability to accept responsibility for own actions.
