We are searching for an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst.

Essential Function

The Business Intelligence Analyst will query SQL databases, build and maintain Qlik dashboards, assist in running predictive models, and fulfill ad-hoc reporting requests for various business units.

Primary Responsibilities & Duties

  1. This role will be responsible for the gathering and documenting of both functional and technical requirements from business and project teams.
  2. Prepares and analyzes data. This can include locating, profiling, cleansing, extracting, mapping, importing, transforming, validating or modeling.
  3. Applies query, data exploration and transformation, basic statistical methods and visualization techniques to create business insights.
  4. Performs validation and testing to confirm the accuracy of the information created.
  5. Develop reports, KPIs and Dashboards that meet the business reporting needs. This includes not only getting the correct data, but also aggregating, integrating, managing security, and presenting it in a matter that provides clarity of meaning and drives decisions.
  6. Interprets results of analyses, identifies trends and issues, and develops recommendations to support business objectives.
  7. Build, Adjust, and Assess Predictive Models.
  8. Troubleshoot end-user issues.
  9. Responsible for learning the tools and systems used in the environment and how they affect business level of TCU.
  10. Responsible for advancing the learning and skills for oneself to gain experience for building a resume for career advancement.
  11. Assumes additional responsibilities as necessary for the continued growth and advancement of the Credit Union.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills are absolutely necessary.
  • Should be able to demonstrate adaptability and self-motivation to learn.

  • Strong organizational, time management and project management skills are necessary.
  • A desire to excel and grow within your role and beyond.
  • Travel may be required for education, conferences and vendor evaluations.


  • Complete all assigned projects on a timely basis.
  • Adjust project timelines as necessary to achieve overall objectives.
  • Maintain and adhere to confidentiality.
  • Acquire and Utilize new product knowledge
  • Assume additional responsibilities as necessary for the growth and support of the IT Department.
  • Accountable for Performance Management Goals as agreed upon with Supervisor.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Business Analytics, Applied Mathematics/Statistics, or related field.
  • Master’s Degree or Candidate in Data Science, Data Analytics, Math/Stats preferred.
  • 2+ years experience in a business intelligence or data analytics role preferred.
  • Experience with Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data integration software preferred.
  • Technical acumen in SQL databases & Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with predictive modeling preferred.


Annual Salary

50,691.0000 - 63,366.0000
