Job Description

The purpose of Patient Service Representative is to enhance the overall efficiency of the outpatient practice(s) at our HIV/ID Practice. Constant face to face and over the phone interaction with patients, family members, insurance companies, referring physician offices and Hospital and University services. Serves as first contact for all patients in a clinical setting. Functions include all activities related to front desk procedures including registration, scheduling, obtaining and verifying patient information including demographics, insurance and the collection of co-pay fees and referrals where appropriate.
