Physical Therapist Assistant - PTA | Skilled Nursing Facility - SNF

Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking an experienced Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Physical Therapy Assistant PTA looking to travel to Philadelphia, PA for a 13-week assignment. Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Physical Therapy Assistants that work for Pioneer Healthcare Services are dedicated individuals looking to pave a new way in travel healthcare. The ideal Physical Therapy Assistant PTA will have at least one year of experience, although new grads are encouraged to apply. As a Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Physical Therapy Assistant PTA, you will be responsible for providing treatments to patients assigned by the Physical Therapist according to their plan of care. In some cases, you might oversee Physical Therapy Assistant PTA student interns. You will also be required to maintain records of patients' progress and report any changes to the Physical Therapist.Responsibilities of a Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Physical Therapist Assistant PTA:• Assist the Physical Therapist in providing physical therapy services according to the patient's individualized plan of care• Assist in the implementation of appropriate treatment plans and carry out related programs and activities• Instruct patients and families in appropriate care and use of braces, crutches, canes, prosthetic devices, and wheelchairs• Report any changes in the patient's condition to the Physical Therapist• Perform other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Physical Therapist• Documentation is completed in a timely, complete, legible, concise and accurate mannerQualifications of a Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Physical Therapy Assistant PTA:• Physical Therapy Assistant PTA Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of work assignment• Minimum of one year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant PTA preferred, although new grads are encouraged to applyPioneer Healthcare Services is a San Diego-based staffing and travel recruitment firm that specializes in finding exceptional nursing and therapy positions for its clients across the US.
