Job Details
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Manage large-scale projects and direct a team. Work with customers to define project details and provide overall project coordination. Will attend meetings to discuss project goals, develop schedules, and decipher customer specifications. Provide coordination between various equipment vendors, suppliers, and construction trades. Handle all the details required to implement a completely designed control system as detailed by customer specifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In charge of conduit plans, wire schedules, control panel design, and electrical schematics.
Cover all work necessary to put a drawing package together for the shop to build, or provide to the
customer for construction.
Prepare specifications and installation scope of work for larger projects.
Responsible for all PLC programming required for the jobs.
Program the man/machine interface and/or direct the work of others in this activity.
Work with contractors/customer to assist in control system installation.
Debug and test control system as required to the satisfaction of the customer.
Keep track of costs expended on your projects.
Present cost adders to customers and make them available to accounting department for proper
billing if changes occur in the scope of work.
ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS
A track record of working with multiple platforms implemented in a variety of industries and
environments is preferred.
Vision systems experience.
Robot programming and troubleshooting.
Modicon, Siemens, Omron, and Beckhoff hardware and software experience.
Wonderware InTouch, System Platform, Historian.
Familiar with IEC/NEC, NFPA, UL, CSA, CE Mark, and NEMA requirements.
Servo and Motion Control Experience.
Required Travel
Travel will be a requirement, typically 15% to 20% of the year, typically in the continental United States.
