As a Graduate Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineer, you will collaborate with architects and other engineers to develop creative, energy-efficient buildings that provide aesthetic to their physical surroundings and utility to their occupants.

This is a genuine opportunity to make impact - and leave real legacy Learn more about our office locations Your key duties To give you an idea of how this role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do: Embrace the latest technologies to improve performance and sustainabilityUndertake detailed design across plumbing and fire protection, ground sanitary/waste and rainwater drainage systems, below-ground drainage, etc.Prepare technical drawings, schedules, and reports Ensure service and project work are carried out to an excellent standard within agreed deadlines and budget Your skills and experience A Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical, civil, sanitary, environmental, or architectural engineeringCoursework in mechanical design, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid hydraulics/dynamics.Familiarity with BIM modelling software, such as Revit and AutoCAD Knowledge of IES software would be advantageous Interest and/or experience in visual programming (Dynamo, Grasshopper), coding (Python, C#), and/or open source coding projects Internship experience at an engineering related firm preferred, and proven interest in the built environmentAbility to communicate thoughts and technical ideas in an accessible mannerEagerness to learn and work as part of a multidisciplinary team Learn more about Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineering at Buro Happold What we offer Salary range of $77,000 to $80,000.
