Compensation: $43,000.00 to $47,000.00 per year

Your main responsibilities in this position would include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Candidates with strong analytical skills and a preference for challenging and fast-paced work environments will be successful in this position. What you get to do every single day - Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions - Prepare monthly consolidated P L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting - Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations - Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary - Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP - Offer involvement in various department-wide initiatives - Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external - Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks) - Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests

Job Requirements

- Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines - Knowledgeable of ERP systems - Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges - Remarkable analytical, quantitative and social skills - Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing - Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus - Well-founded grasp of bank reconciliations - Experience with journal entries - Expertise in Microsoft Excel - Proven knowledge of account reconciliation - Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) - General ledger experience preferred - QuickBooks experience desired - Must have excellent time management skills - Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus - Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment - BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred - SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus - 1+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience - Strong attention to detail
