Guidehouse, Inc is looking for an IT Senior Associate to be a part of our Cloud Management team, with a focus on management of our multiple VDI environments. This individual will work in a team to manage our 900+ virtual machine infrastructure that supports the diverse needs of the organization.

  • Leverage your experience with Citrix to setup and maintain multiple VDI solutions in Azure

  • Support existing infrastructure and troubleshoot as necessary

  • Create and maintain needed group policies in support of a diverse remote workforce connecting to VDI environment

  • Provide guidance to staff in meeting new client VDI requirements

  • Establish Azure blueprints/policy in support of Healthcare, Energy, and Financial Services environments

  • Evaluate legacy virtual machine environments and determine future state

  • Automate system buildout process

  • Experience in Customer managed encryption keys and BCP/DR



  • A competent professional with over 7+ years of rich experience in Compute Infrastructure Management and Microsoft Azure Cloud (IaaS & PaaS).

  • Hands on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud services, Storage Accounts and Virtual Networks

  • Experienced in Provisioning of IaaS & PaaS Virtual Machines

  • Experienced in moving from traditional virtual machines to Azure specific solutions like Azure PaaS

  • Experienced with Windows and Linux OS

  • Experienced in designing and administering Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD,WVD)

  • Experienced in designing and administering Citrix Virtual Apps/desktops in a cloud environment (Citrix/Azure Cloud)

  • Experienced in configuring and maintain gold images for VDI environment

  • Experienced with Citrix environment (NetScaler, ADC, FAS, Storefront)

  • Ability to create/publish secure applications

  • Experienced in administering group policies in support of VDI environment

  • Experienced with PowerShell and Citrix PowerShell scripting

  • Experienced in automation of tasks in support of VDI environment

  • Able to effectively communicate with wide range of clients and coworkers

  • Capable of quickly learning and delivering solutions as an individual and as part of a team

  • US Citizenship


  • Experience in managing systems in AWS

  • Experience with STIG policies

Additional Requirements

The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.

The salary range for this role is $80,000-$95,000 , may vary based on education, skills, experience and location.

Selected Candidate must be able to work Eastern Standard Hours.
