About The Job
Sandy Spring Insurance is currently recruiting a Producer - Benefits. If you are the chosen candidate, you will develop and solicit insurance business using a variety of sales techniques. You will meet with clients/prospects to discuss specific needs and match needs to the appropriate insurance product. You will create retention strategies and facilitate account development of existing clients. You will identify referral opportunities for other parts of SSI and SSB.
Areas of focus:
Strong knowledge of insurance principles spanning the variety of product offerings available to the client/prospect. A license is required within 6 months of obtaining this position
Strong aptitude for sales and business development to meet production goals and remain competitive
Ability and willingness to use personal computer systems to enter submission data and develop marketing tools
Ability to effectively express ideas orally and in writing.
Decision making ability within the framework of practices and procedures.
