GDIT is seeking an experienced SAFe Agile DevSecOps Manager to join its Intelligence and Homeland Security (IHS) Group and be part of a highly visible and strategic Cybersecurity Task Order in Arlington, VA. In this role you will lead all Agile DevSecOps tasking as directed by the government and provide detailed reports regarding that tasking. The individual will develop plans based on SAFe best practices and refine those plans to maximize efficiency and effective of development operations. Successful candidate utilizes expert communication skills needed to direct the skilled technical resources and report on the technical progress, issues, and problem areas, as well as write and review technical documents.
The qualified candidate will perform the following tasks:
+ Responsible for embedding an Agile culture using techniques from a wide range of Agile and SAFe methodologies and frameworks
+ Helps to create an open and trust-based environment, which enables a focus on delivery and facilitates continuous improvement
+ Assess team/organizational culture and delivery processes to identify and acilitate improvements
+ Identifies and recommends tools and techniques to support agile processes
+ Remove portfolio impediments and champion the Agile methodology
+ Coach the teams in all scrum tasks like sprint planning, user story mapping, estimations, daily stand ups, demos, and retrospectives
+ Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders and business owners to provide guidance and recommendations on improving IT infrastructure
+ A proactive approach to identifying issues and problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks along with an ability to offer and implement solutions to address these.
+ Experience creating dashboards to track service health that appeal to both technical and non-technical audiences preferably with Splunk.
+ Skilled at directing a large team, and executing responsibilities without direct supervisor.
+ Experience working within the federal government or serving federal government clients on Agile-based development contract
+ Guide the team and all other stakeholders on DevOps practices (Pipeline, collaboration, Test Driven Development, CI/CD and continuous ATOs
+ Proactively seek opportunities to use process improvement and re-engineering methodologies to facilitate improvements to team processes
+ Uses exceptional written and verbal communication skills to interact regularly with high-level customers and other industry representatives to ensure conformance to customer requirements.
+ Experience as an agile coach providing thought leadership in an agile or SAFe program with DevSecOps
+ Responsible for team and program level implementation using agile practices
+ Responsible for instilling an agile culture using techniques from a wide range of agile, (SAFe®) or DevSecOps methodologies and frameworks.
**Required Qualifications:**
Minimum 20+ years IT experience
Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or a related field
Successful candidate must have the following certifications:
+ Scaled Agile SAFe 5 SPC certification
**Desired Certifications**
+ SAFe POPM, SAFe Scrum Master,
+ Project Management Institute (PMI) Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certification
+ Scaled Agile DevOps Certification
+ ITIL 4
