Our client, a major construction product manufacturer, has an IMMEDIATE need for 2 Electrical Maintenance Technicians for their plant in south west metro Atlanta area. This is a contract to hire role that is paid hourly and is overtime eligible. Responsibilities will include configuring, repairing, or modifying all Plant electrical equipment and systems. You will maintain equipment and systems through preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize life, as well as respond to assigned work requests and maintenance emergencies to resolve maintenance issues by troubleshooting and providing corrective maintenance support. Other duties will include performing general repair to equipment and systems requiring practical skill and industrial manufacturing knowledge (i.e. pneumatic and hydraulic circuits, power transmission systems). Answer line calls to troubleshoot any electrical process or extrusion problems Configure, repair, or modify all Plant electrical equipment, including extrusion and blending equipment Maintain equipment and systems through preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize life Respond to assigned work requests and maintenance emergencies to resolve maintenance issues by troubleshooting and providing corrective maintenance support Perform general repair to equipment and systems requiring practical skill and industrial manufacturing knowledge (i.e. pneumatic and hydraulic circuits, power transmission systems) Perform project work as assigned Create electrical schematics or blueprints for new electrical installations, and update existing prints
Associates or Technical degree preferred, if no degree must have the industry experience 2+ years of experience working with electrical systems Experience configuring, repairing, modifying, and maintaining all plant electrical equipment Experience developing and modifying preventative maintenance programs Experience running conduit, pulling wires, terminating and commissioning systems Experience PLC s (Allen Bradley) preferred
