In a medical device setting, performs manual, clerical, and computer activities (SAP/MES) while preparing components, materials, and supplies for manufacturing lines and shipments to customers. Involves distribution of components to manufacturing lines and finished goods to be packaged.
End-to-end ownership of the material replenishment and fulfillment process for raw material components and finished goods inventory.
• Acts as an internal and external customer interface.
• Drives actions to ensure appropriate stocking levels are maintained without disruption to customers while partnering with Receiving Dock, Component Crib, & Manufacturing lines.
• Completes material movement transactions utilizing SAP and MES systems.
• Labels components/material and packages for shipment to ensure 100% traceability.
• Pulls/prepares components for shipment to both internal & external customers.
• Receives vendor supplied components and out-going shipments from internal customers.
• Assisting in the analyzing, designing, and implementation of manufacturing and business process improvement.
•Electric pallet jack is required for this position*

Job Scope and Leveling Guidelines
Extensive knowledge in specialized functions. Applies extensive knowledge of business concepts, procedures and practices and a complete understanding of fundamentals in a functional area, and working knowledge of other related disciplines. Utilizes/interprets advanced data to present documentation, analysis, and resolve complex problems.
Performs complex or specialized assignments usually in the nature of projects, requiring working independently. May design, develop, or modify area-specific processes or procedures. Assignments require judgment, initiative, creativity and leadership in troubleshooting, suggesting alternatives, and making recommendations for continuous quality improvement.
Minimal supervision. Work may be done without established procedures. May determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance to other support personnel.
Consequence of Errors
Errors are very difficult to detect and would normally require significant expenditures to resolve.
Contacts are frequent with individuals representing outside organizations, and/or individuals of significant importance within the company. Contacts involve planning and preparation of the communications, require skill, tact, persuasion and/or negotiation to accomplish the objectives of the communication.
MUST HAVE Qualifications
AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 3 years related experience in a logistics environment.
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel applications.
Must have strong data entry skills, be able to analyze data and work well with people.
Must be able to pull, push, and lift 50lbs.
Job requires frequent sitting and standing the majority of the day.
Job requires use of manual pallet-jack.
