Primary Function

To coordinate the delivery and archiving of digital assets for promotions, advertisements, films, packaging, informative and instructional materials.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Download existing assets, repurpose existing assets, or create new assets.

  • Ensure that all downloaded, repurposed or created assets match all requirements; color space, size, resolution, format, etc.

  • Collaborate with enterprise brand group (and other internal constituencies) to ensure that assets conform to all applicable brand guidelines.

  • Add metadata to assets and file in appropriate server(s).

  • Maintain the asset request database in support of accurate fulfillment and reporting.

  • Adhere to established processes for compliance and risk avoidance.

  • Maintain an awareness of technological advances in the field, and be able to identify applicable uses for same.

  • Manage and prioritize a high volume of work under tight deadlines.

  • Maintain an awareness of visual and branding trends within the agency.

  • Assist in training and guiding the assets staff and/or contractors as needed.

  • Participate and assist in providing assets education as needed.

  • Act as partner, maintaining solid relationships with clients and others in the agency.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Software proficiency in Adobe CS4 Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat), MS Office including Word and PowerPoint, and QuarkXPress.

  • Working knowledge of design and production for advertising.

  • Thorough understanding of prepress and printing requirements.

  • Experience in agency and client relations.

  • Demonstrated leadership, organization, communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to lead and influence in a cross-functional fast-paced team environment.

  • Ability to handle direction and criticism.

  • Team-oriented.

Education & Experience

  • 3-5 years applicable experience in either graphic design or asset management.

  • Bachelor's degree.
