Technician, Manufacturing Engineering

  • Coordinate critical product builds from receipt of raw materials through release to Finished Goods or shipment for testing. Work with all departments to ensure that critical activities are completed, and that both components and products flow smoothly toward product completion in compliances with SOPs. Communicate with all departments to facilitate build progress with minimal disruptions or duplication of activities.
  • Write ECOs as needed for process improvements or procedural corrections.
  • Assist Production Supervision and Manufacturing Engineering in maintaining training requirements.
  • Create and distribute production yield and other reports as needed.
  • Create spreadsheets as needed by Manufacturing Engineers and Production Supervision.
  • Assist Manufacturing Engineers in development and implementation of manufacturing process improvements, which foster Continuous Flow Manufacturing principles.
  • Perform tests and collect data as directed by Manufacturing Engineers.
  • Assist Manufacturing Engineers and Production Supervision as needed in implementation of corrective actions to permanently resolve the issues.
  • Actively participate in project teams, representing the manufacturing engineering department in professional and cooperative interdepartmental atmospheres.
  • Maintain a clean and save working environment.
