Kelly Services is hiring for an Ink Maker in Nixa, MO. Please apply to this posting or call Phone number blocked - click to apply, option 1 to apply. Ink Maker: Pay rate $16.00 per hour - DOE Responsible for mixing, packaging, and labeling traditional, water base, and ink jet inks for sale to customers based on the specifications of a Chemist. Ensures that all tests for quality and accuracy are performed. -Reviews specifications and raw materials based on the batch ticket for product. -Mixes raw materials following specifications to manufacture product -Performs various quality control tests to ensure product meets defined specifications. -Alerts supervisor and/or Chemist regarding any tests that do not meet specification and provides a sample and test results. Based on the Chemist-s determination, may make some adjustments to the batch and re-performs tests. -Once the batch is finished, documents appropriate data for QC records. -May perform other duties as required -Filters, packages, seals caps,labels,boxes product -Adheres to all safety rules -May be assigned to other departments as needed -Records thru-put time on manufacturing traveler sheets -Supports the Quality Management System QUALIFICATIONS: Requires basic math and lab skills and six months of on the job training. Ability to follow instructions. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Incumbents generally must be able to, with or without accommodation, have the proficient use of both sensory perception/clarity and muscle control/coordination. This may include vision (near, far, color, glare control), hearing (auditory attention, sound localization), speech, strength, agility, dexterity flexibility, steadiness or reaction time. Occasional heavy lifting, occasionally exposed to temperature fluctuations due to weather conditions. Exposed to noise and dust. Potential exposure to various strong odors from solvent use.
