We are hiring! AtkinsRalis is seeking a Survey Technicianto join our Henderson, NV office.

How will you contribute to the team?
  • Depending on service supported, typical duties may include the following:
  • Assembles contract documents and specification data, carries out field verifications, and/or research codes and ordinances, government publications, surveys, product information or other background data.
  • Reviews and interprets field notes, right-of-way maps or other topographic data.
  • Collects and analyzes environmental samples; enters data in computer and maintains sampling equipment.
  • Performs mathematical calculations.
  • Drafts base maps, site plans, construction drawings, and/or other technical drawings.
  • Prepares graphic displays and presentation materials.
  • Coordinates with CAD technicians, reprographics and other technical personnel.
  • May assist technical professionals by writing preliminary reports and performing quantity takeoffs, cost estimates and man-hour estimates for projects.
  • Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

What will you contribute?
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) plus four years related experience OR an Associates Degree in a related technical field plus two years related experience is required.
  • Good mathematical and analytical skills; proficiency with computer aided drafting and design programs where required.
