Human Resources Coordinator
Pay rate: $27-$29 DOE
Reporting to the HR Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator supports the HR functions within the plant and is accountable for contributing to the efficiency of operations through the performance of various administrative functions. The HR Coordinator supports the leadership team to ensure consistent and equitable application of policies and human resource practices. This position will provide human resources and administrative support for all facets of generalist activities including staffing, onboarding, benefits, employee relations issues, and data integrity.
Provide administrative support to the Human Resources function at local level and to other Global Operations sites as needed.
Become proficient with SAP Success Factors and Workforce Software to ensure efficient utilization of HCM system.
Review and approve hourly and non-exempt timesheets in time for weekly payroll processing.
Run weekly and ad-hock reports to support the leadership team.
Coordinate Direct Labor staffing process with supervisors and staffing agencies.
Exercise an 'Open Door Policy and assist employees with questions, concerns, and guidance in the full range of HR functions. Communicate and interpret new and existing policies.
Maintain confidentiality of all employee, applicant, and other discretionary information.
Prepare, organize, and support recruitment efforts by building and nurturing relationships with internal and external sourcing teams. Work with management and agencies to support requisition, interview, offer, onboarding, and new hire orientation processes.
Provide support to the Training function as needed.
Work collaboratively with HR shared services. Communicate employee and organizational changes and updates including new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, salary adjustments,shift changes, Job Description changes, etc. to maintain data integrity within the HCM and timekeeping systems and to keep personnel files current.
Support the timekeeping and weekly payroll process by ensuring timely completion and approvals from managers.
Support the annual benefit open enrollment process. Assist employees with benefit questions and enrollment.
Coordinate meetings, training sessions, employee events including on-site meals, charity events, employee recognition, and wellness programs.
Prepare memos, maintain HR board and communication monitors.
Create employee security badges and maintain the system. Resolve badge system technical issues.
Order and maintain HR supplies
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree preferred or 2-year degree with HR certification and equivalent work experience.
2-3 years of working experience in Human Resources or a related field
Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state employment regulations including: ADA, FMLA, FLSA, EEO and Affirmative Action.
Prior experience with an HRIS database preferred

Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
Intermediate computer skills (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Assertive with a high level of self-motivation and initiative; willing to ask for assistance when needed.
