Outside Rental Sales Representatives will be the key point of contact responsible for developing strong business relationships, and consulting with current and prospective customers to best serve their equipment rental needs.

Position Specifics:

Department: Outside Sales

Reports to: Store Manager or Sales Manager

Supervises: None

Job Status: Exempt

Essential Functions:

• Efficiently manage territory, visiting prospects and customers on jobsites and in offices within assigned geographic territory

• Coordinate and participate in strategic entertainment of customers

• Develop relationships with new and existing customers

• Identify customer needs and assess customer interests

• Explain the products and options available to customers

• Develop and organize strategies for achieving goals and exceeding quota in rentals and sales of equipment

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

• Prior B2B inside or outside sales experience with successful track record is required

• Knowledge of agricultural and turf or construction and forestry equipment or operational practices preferred

• Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions

• Ability to work flexible hours

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a driving record in good standing

• Rental or sales experience in a construction related industry experience is a plus but not required

• Possess outstanding communication and customer service skills

• Are able to respond to requests in a timely, accurate, and complete manner, producing results without prompting or follow-up

• Eager to consistently learn product and sales skills

• Closely observe all safety guidelines and policies

• Are people-oriented, focused, sales driven and a team player

• Are exceptionally self-disciplined and self-motivated with strong work ethic
