The Quality Engineer will work to improve existing procedures and processes within our system and collaborate with team members to build new quality controls, tests, and verifications. Responsibilities: Review contracts, drawings, purchase orders, work orders and various related production and development plans for quality requirements. Support and instruct Quality Inspectors as needed. Lead teams to investigate and identify the root cause of internal and customer issues to develop and implement corrective actions. Develop and execute plans for quality and control to ensure constant manufacturing continuity and product conformance. Prepare, supervise, and report quality metrics for assigned process effectiveness. Support quality goals and objectives along with activities to identify, explain, and resolve quality issues. Requirements KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Strong ability to work independently and as a team member under the pressure of manufacturing. Strong understanding of statistical process control and how to use data to drive decisions. Advanced knowledge and practical application of Problem Solving / Process Improvement analysis, tools, and techniques. Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs required. Knowledge of AX preferred. Prior experience with Government standards and specifications is preferred.
OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 required.
