**Responsibilities**

PCG manages the daily operations of the Special Education Management System in hundreds of school districts across the Northwest Region which includes Washington, Idaho, Utah, and Colorado.

The Business Operations Analyst is responsible for managing and delivering technology solutions and satisfying requirements during project and/or program initiation, scope management, time management, and quality management efforts. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable and well versed in the design and development processes to create and maintain Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) documents, system specifications and project management documents. The Business Operations Analyst works internally with both technical and business service teams to define project scopes, setting priorities, developing and managing design and develop plans, tracking issues and resolution, managing aspects of the implementation, driving continued integration with related technology solutions and overseeing all aspects of the design.

Integral to the success of this position is positive interaction with business team and technology resources to ensure effective management and momentum of information systems/technology projects. In addition, this individual will establish and maintain effective professional work relationships, working collaboratively with the technology and business teams to help integrate key technologies in support of the client and the business.

+ Create and manage all system specifications required for project and client management

+ Create requirements-gathering documents to identify business and user needs

+ Create functional specifications (as well as any other documentation needed) to clearly denote scope and requirements to development and QA teams

+ Create wireframes or prototypes using Axure RP, or related tools

+ Performs testing to ensure functionality works as intended

+ Operate in a central region and support multiple projects across multiple states

+ Obtain proficiency in providing design and development tools

**Qualifications**

**Experience**

+ Bachelor's degree

+ Minimum of 3 years of System Design in an organizational setting

+ Expertise and work experience utilizing (SDLC) System Development Life Cycle and (QA) Quality Assurance methodology standards and best practices

+ Development of Requirements Specifications, Design, Process/Flow Diagrams, Test and Implementation Plans

+ Axure, Sketch, and/or Figma experience is a plus

+ UI/UX experience and course certification is a plus

+ Knowledge of special education is a plus

+ Knowledge of Jira is a plus

**Required Skills**

+ Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to interact with various IT and business client departments/project teams

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment; reacts professionally under pressure

+ Ability to manage priorities across multiple teams/projects, platforms

+ Detail oriented with excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills; speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations

+ Strong facilitation skills

+ Excellent time management skills; self-starting and self-motivated

+ Ability to work well independently or leading a design team with limited supervision; strong team collaboration

**Compensation**

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.?

As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $65,000 - $85,000.

In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role.
