Export Control Specialist

ASRC Federal Holding Company Greenbelt, MD (Onsite) Full-Time
ASRC Federal AFSS is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. We are seeking candidates for a future **Full Time, International Project / Export Control Specialist** to support a **NASA contract in Greenbelt, MD.**

**Responsibilities:**

+ Assist in providing technical oversight for the managing, implementing and promoting of ITAR/EAR requirements for Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) projects.

+ Ensure shipments and technical transfer meet necessary compliance with all U.S. export control laws and regulations including ITAR, EAR, and applicable CFR clauses.

+ Assist GSFC projects with management of project industrial partner proprietary data and potentially classified data.

+ Assist with the development and presentation of ITAR/EAR compliance related training material.

+ Review shipping documents including packages for shipping with express mail purposes.

+ Coordinate with the Logistics Transportation Management branch in the shipment of hardware ensuring that the shipment is properly planned and all required documentation including ITAR/EAR material are in place.

**Requirements:**

+ Individual must meet government NAC and citizenship/permanent residency requirements for access to NASA GSFC. Ability to get a SECRET level clearance. Extensive background investigation will be performed as a requirement of the job. Some travel may be required.

**Education and Experience:**

+ Bachelor degree (preferably in international studies) and 8+ years of experience

+ Past experience in a classified security environment desirable
