Campaign Coordinator Assistant Summary:


A client-centered, non-profit organization that provides safe and affordable housing to the homeless is looking for a Campaign Coordinator to assist with managing an active capital campaign. The Campaign Coordinator will be involved in every area of the funding initiative from the planning stages through completion of the active solicitation phase.  The following identifies a number of general areas of responsibility and some details as to the duties of the coordinator.


Campaign Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Assume full responsibility for various fundraising efforts including capital campaigns,
  • special events, and community partner collaborations.
  • Report to Campaign Chairs on all fundraising activities.
  • Work directly with/take direction from fundraising consultant.
  • Provide support/follow up/reminders to fundraising leadership
  • Assist in writing grant proposals and developing event opportunities.
  • Research and identify prospective new donors and proactively initiate sponsorship and funding.
  • Identify and evaluate processes through scheduling meetings, helping to develop lists of prospective
  • donors and volunteers, manage donor master list with assigned volunteers and provide additional
  • support to volunteers as needed.
  • Aid and support to campaign leadership in preparation of meetings, production of materials, research of prospects and volunteers, scheduling meetings, answering general questions and providing general
  • support of fundraising activities.
  • Work with the marketing firm to develop campaign branding materials.
  • Work with Executive Director to develop, design and implement all mailings, promotional campaigns, and newsletters.
  • Work with the internal team to ensure accurate recordkeeping for the campaign.
  • Help develop annual plans in coordination with the resource development plan for volunteer services.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing a protocol for volunteer and donor thank you messaging.
  • Work directly with Executive Director and Board of Directors to manage project workflow and oversee day to day milestones for projects.
  • Work collaboratively across organization and with outside vendors to plan and execute events.
  • Assist Executive Director with volunteer and community engagement grants and reporting.

Schedule:  8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday 

Campaign Coordinator Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sociology or equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in various software programs including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Demonstrated development and fundraising experience.
  • Demonstrated volunteer management experience.
  • Experience developing and executing email campaigns (primarily in Mailchimp) as well as campaign monitoring and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to use platforms for posting information to social media outlets (websites, newsletters, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
  • Experience using online communications and project management tools.
  • Required to oversee projects in support of the Executive. May be required to give guidance or direction to others.
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, external partners, and donors.
  • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.
  • Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Forward thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.
  • Experience working with a diverse team.
