Simply put, your dedication to excellence, your eagerness to learn, desire to grow and align with a mission-drive company committed to improving healthcare services is what we seek from our Billing Specialist Technician. This is a great way to get your foot in the door and build a solid career home in an environment that is growing quickly. We're a fun, fast-paced setting and there's no better time to join a company that is the high-tech of pharmacy and on the leading-edge of pharmaceutical dispensary.

What You'll Do:

As an AlixaRx Pharmacy Technician, Billing Specialist, your mission is to provide excellent customer service as an important billing resource and master problem-solver for our customers, the nurses and managers at long-term health facilities. Work with insurance and hospice providers as well as multiple systems to review and work billing errors, rejected claims, prior authorizations, and rotate through different tasks. Projects such as processing returns, reviewing and completing daily reports, as well as finding Medicaid numbers will keep your workdays busy, varied, and full of learning. Your service is essential to meet the needs of our end customer, the long-term care patient. Listening carefully, resolving issues appropriately, and providing high quality service in response to calls and emails will be important for your success. Our flexible, collaborative team shares the daily workload, and will be grateful for your positive attitude and attention to detail. As you increase your skills with our automated systems, there will be room to grow, within this group or within other departments in our growing company.

What You'll Bring:

Our Pharmacy Technician, Billing Specialist will have at least two years of experience working in a pharmacy, ideally in a retail or long-term care pharmacy, as well as bringing your state license and/or national (CPhT) certification. You will be organized, detail-oriented, a critical thinker who enjoys digging in to research issues, punctual, and reliable. For a few days at the beginning of the month overtime may occur, so your ability for working additional hours may be needed. Your verbal, written, and customer service skills will be superior. Computer skills, the ability to multi-task, and the desire to work collaboratively with the team are essential.

If this sounds like the kind of position you've been seeking, and you meet the requirements listed, please apply online today for our careful consideration.
