An exquisite opportunity awaits for an experienced Breast Sonographer in the Stamford CT area. An award-winning hospital is searching to add a Breast Sonographer to join their highly professional health care team.

Administering care that treats both a patients physical needs and mental health needs are a top priority for this dedicated clinical staff. The Breast Sonographer will be joining a hard-working patient care services department who have worked tirelessly to maintain their honorable reputation not just in the state of Connecticut, but across the country.

Under the supervision of the Ultrasound Manager and/or Tech Specialist performs a wide variety of technical and professional duties utilizing complex imaging equipment to produce quality Ultrasound exams as requested for subsequent interpretation by the radiologist. All duties are performed in accordance with according departmental and organizational policies and procedures. Additionally, the Sonographer  is expected to work independently and assist others, help with daily oversight of operations, is capable of problem solving and take corrective action as necessary, and may be asked to assume responsibility for Ultrasound department operations in the absence of a supervisor. To meet the staffing needs of the department, as necessary, Ultrasound staff may be assigned at any of GH Diagnostic Radiology locations, regardless of your regularly assigned work location.
