Job Title : Network Engineer
Job Summary:
The Network Engineer will provide Tier III technical support for external and internal customers within the organization.
Responsibilities include:
  • Documenting Procedures, Maintain Network Readiness, Incident Management Response, On-call support, Coordinate infrastructure changes/upgrades in response to US-CERT notifications.
  • Network Systems Lifecycle (Purchase Recommendation, Installation, Configuration, Maintenance, Decommission) as well as Network Systems Management (Implementation, Operation, Transition, Configuration Management).
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.


Experience:
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years' experience in an enterprise network and infrastructure environment
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Product and Service vendor relations and coordination
  • Self-motivated and directed, able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees via face to face communication, over the telephone or through email.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong customer-service orientation.
  • Working technical knowledge of current networking protocols, operating systems, and technology standards.
  • The candidate must have a car and a valid drivers' license, as this position requires after hours support.
