A company located in the Santa Barbara/Goleta area is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join their team. This individual will be providing support to the Human Resources team and will be the point of contact for team inquiries regarding Human Resources policies and processes. The ideal candidate is a self- starter who can work well under time constraints and has the ability to communicate clearly with team members, management and clients in an efficient and professional manner at all times
•Educating the team on services/programs available to them
•Answering inquiries on HR practices, policies, programs, procedures, and tools
•Planning and scheduling team meetings, trainings, room reservations and technology set-up
•Providing administrative support with full-cycle employee transactions
•Assisting other teams to resolve day to day issues
•Organizing and maintaining employee records
•Handling the correspondence regarding the review of employment verification and document requests from legal
•Creates/edits written communications
•Associate?s or Bachelor's degree preferred
•At least one year of experience in Human Resources
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
•Working knowledge of Zendesk, Workday, SharePoint, and Office 365
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
