Responsibilities

• Unlocking & Opening multiple facilities on time daily
• Clean facilities by sweeping, using a blower, pressure cleaning, etc.
• Perform basic maintenance and light repairs (door hardware, plumbing, painting, wall repair, tile repair, electrical, HVAC, etc.
• Perform routine landscaping on the grounds (keeping grounds clean & presentable)
• Undertake light installation or carpenting (e.g. building furniture, hanging picture frames), etc.
• Repair equipment or appliances
• Assist in supervising tradespeople with painting, electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs
• Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks (e.g. hurricane preparations & work orders)
• Identify and report the need for repairs
• Receive & stock deliveries
• Assist in building inspections as needed 

Requirements

• Proven experience as a handyman
• Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems
• Basic math skills
• Punctuality is a must
• Must be able to lift 50 LBS
• Working weekends, overtime, & on-call
• Good communication ability
• Must be able to work on ladders & lifts
• Must be computer literate able to use apps, email, etc.
• Well-organized and apt in problem-solving
• Attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not necessary
