THE POSITION

Based in New York, the Senior Director of Healthcare Marketing will play a critical role in our company growth strategy. This individual will be key in further developing and executing the strategy for A Place for Mom's high-value customers coming from Healthcare channels (doctors offices, hospitals and rehabs), working to target and influence both healthcare professionals and families in the healthcare setting.

You are a subject matter expert when it comes to healthcare marketing fundamentals. You are passionate, outcome-oriented, and a self-starter. You listen to the customer and you enjoy diving into data to identify customer insights. You are a strong communicator, a creative problem solver, analytical and you are eager to work cross-functionally to drive transformational change.

Youve successfully built and driven healthcare focused marketing programs to accelerate growth and come to work with a general manager mindset. Youre comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment. You can prioritize aggressively, and you enjoy rolling up your sleeves to get the job done. Most of all, you enjoy working with talented and driven people that will challenge you to reach the next level.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Further build and execute our best in industry B2B healthcare strategy elevating our brand as the leading partner and authority in the healthcare channel focused on professionals who advise families in need for senior living and home care after discharge

  • Develop and execute against our strong value proposition with our extensive account based marketing programs focused on professional caregivers across doctors offices, hospitals and rehabs

  • Deliver A Place for Moms healthcare channel revenue while improving the quality and quantity of healthcare leads working with our healthcare account executive team

  • Develop and implement a strong test and learn program to give us insights on programs and tools that have the strongest success rates across existing and new accounts

  • Lead the development of our extensive healthcare collateral content that drives more healthcare professionals and families to work with A Place for Mom and vastly improve the digital tools that our healthcare account executives are utilizing in the field

  • Work with our sales, sales operations and L&D teams to support our sales teams and elevate best-in-class training programs for our healthcare sales team aligned to our in-market programs

  • Integrate and lead the segment strategy across a broader cross-functional team including marketing, product, finance, data science; manage an internal manager and external agencies across all program components

  • Lead all analytics, reporting and insights tied to ongoing testing and performance tied to our Healthcare channel

Qualifications

Required skills and Competencies:

  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare marketing and similar account based marketing roles (hospitals, pharma, medical device)

  • Previous success executing complex marketing programs for healthcare brands that drove transformation results

  • Experience in managing high performing teams and third party agencies; fluent in using industry data to drive successful programs

  • Self-motivated and resourceful with the ability to think strategically and work independently; energized about a hands-on and fast paced culture

  • Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills

  • Collaborative team player, ready to share success across a high-performing marketing team

  • Ability to handle obstacles, and feedback with perseverance, creativity, and positivity
