Responsible for driving top-line revenue for traditional sales segments including group, volume transient, and catering.
Develop and implement a marketing plan designed to achieve the desired positioning of the hotel, as well as manage the sales & marketing budget that supports all initiatives.
Assess and react to market trends, market share, and the competitive hotel environment.
Ability to understand and communicate market trends, demand generators, supply/demand, and economic factors affecting hotel performance.
Conduct comprehensive competitive set reviews, SWOT analysis, and keep tabs on new supply.
Develop/implement key segment strategy & manage key accounts (both existing & target).
Coordinate direct sales activities including road shows, blitzes, group promotions, client events, and familiarization trips.
Design effective sales deployment plans & market assignments.
Develop sales goals designed to achieve budget and market share targets.
Manage group pace measurement.
Manage sales activity & travel schedule.
Assist, coach, train, motivate and counsel all sales managers and sales staff.
Prepare all monthly reports for OTH Hotels Resorts and owners on a timely and accurate basis.
Assist all Department Heads in establishing quality product standards and service levels that establish the property as a 4-star competitor.
