WHAT YOU'LL DOArtificial Intelligence (AI) is an existing functional practice area (PA) within BCG, but the firm’s leadership has made this business area a new priority for growth, focused on delivering impact with AI. In addition to aligning our hiring strategy to support these aspirations, there is a need to upskill our existing workforce in this area as well.The Global Learning & Development (L&D) team is working with AI@Scale leadership to set the broader upskilling strategy, the AI Academy, and begins its execution. The AI Academy will provide an upskilling curriculum that spans quick learnings to an AI Accelerator course for current and aspiring AI leaders across all BCG cohorts. A newly curated platform will centralize topic-level trainings to provide a one-stop-shop for the best AI learning and knowledge content, making upskilling for case teams simple and streamlined. To provide ongoing support of this initiative we are developing an AI-specific L&D team.Part of the upskilling strategy includes working with external university partners and our own client-facing upskilling team, BCG-U, to develop programs that BCG employees will have an opportunity to be nominated for or apply to. We expect multiple cohorts a year to participate in these programs. While this role will continue to evolve with the needs of the business, the initial focus will be as follows: Managing the application processes and making approval decisionsManaging participants, including coordinating class scheduling, once they have been accepted to a programOwning the communication channel strategy (Slack, email, Edcast, etc.) and thinking about how we evolve these in the futureTracking participant engagement to ensure they meet requirements for synchronous and asynchronous components of the programCreating community learning opportunities for program participants to deepen their AI affiliations within the BCG networkUpon BCG participants completion of the course, you will also be responsible for ensuring our talent management team prioritizes these participants for staffing on AI related projects – specific requirements still to be definedManaging partner relationships (universities, BCG-U), working in tight coordination with AI@Scale leadership and the AI Academy ownerGiven the intimate knowledge of this part of the AI upskilling strategy you will gain, we also expect you to work with the team leading the credential development effort to support in its design and executionYou’ll work closely with a variety of stakeholders beyond university partners and BCG-U, including AI@Scale leadership, the Global L&D leadership and communications team, our deep pool of AI topic experts, our AI product owners, and the other members of the AI Academy teamThis role provides you a unique opportunity to work with BCG’s thought leaders and help transform our proprietary knowledge into best-in-class and innovative learning experiences for our BCGers and support this exciting next step in the firm’s history.YOU'RE GOOD ATStrong customer focus; responsive to queries in a consistent manner and with a sense of urgency Acting as thought partner and trusted advisor to those you work with, whether it’s leaders or colleagues who seek advice or ideas on communication approaches, or people engagement Possesses excellent organization and time management skills with ability to manage competing priorities effectively, meeting deadlines Works cooperatively with other team members, displaying a high level of motivation and enthusiasm for tasks Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop effective working relationships with BCG staff across all levels of seniority Excellent English skills: written and oral communication Accuracy and attention to detail; experience double-checking and cross-checking own work Ability to write slides, to produce tables and graphs in PowerPoint as part of standard reporting Ability to respect all BCG information as personal and confidential Displays high standards of professional behavior and ethical standard Thinking big whilst considering all the detail, often at the same time YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)A bachelor’s degree or equivalent and experience working within a fast paced, challenging organization A passion and interest in Learning & Development as well as Artificial Intelligence Experience in an internal communication and/or marketing role You have demonstrated success within a role, and can explain how you delivered both operationally and strategically – potentially beyond your initial scope Prove organizational skills, including ability to effectively manage and prioritize work, and communicate these workplans to managers and teams YOU'LL WORK WITHA passionate and dedicated Learning & Development team, who are currently spread across Europe and India. As a complex matrix structured organisation you will also work with L&D teams in our local systems across our regions as well as with counterparts and colleagues in our Global L&D teams. You will establish strong relationships across our people functions and beyond to successfully learn, educate and influence others
