Soar Transportation is seeking CDL A OTR Reefer Lease Purchase Drivers in the Southern US. Now more than ever, great people are needed to get the job done. As part of our SOAR team, you’ll serve an impressive roster of clients, hauling temperature-controlled freight in late model, well-equipped trucks.

Compensation

• Annual pay: $200,000+ average gross pay
  • Earn $1.40 for every loaded mile
  • Receive an additional $0.01 per year of service, up to a cap of $1.45
  • Enjoy a 100% pass-through fuel surcharge based off of weekly D.O.E. National Average
  • Earn 50 CPM on dispatched empty miles
• Additional Pay:
  • Get $50 per hour after just 2 hours of waiting
  • Maximize your earnings with a cap of $300 per 24-hour period
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

  • Lease Only -  Weekly Payment - $300 per week and $.25 per mile, all miles
  • Purchase - Weekly Payment - $300 per week and $.25 per mile, all miles

  • Lease Only Weekly Payment - $300 per week and $.25 per mile, all miles
  • Purchase - Weekly Payment - $300 per week and $.25 per mile, all miles

  • Lease Only - Weekly Payment - $300 per week and $.25 per mile, all miles

• Insurance Premiums:
  • Physical Damage: 3.40% of tractor value weekly (ex. $150,000.00 * 3.40% / 52 weeks = $98.08 weekly)
  • Non-Trucking Liability - $ 6.69 per week
  • Workers Comp or OCC/ACC - $30.23 per week
  • Passenger Insurance (optional) - $3.23 per week
  • Truck Supplement (optional) - $4.15 per week
  • Deductible Buyback (opotional) - $21.38
• Federal Heavy Use Tax 2290- $10.58 per week
• Permits and Plates - $44.23 per week
• Driver Tech Unit- $16.00 per week
• Trailer Rental Fee - $100.00 per week
• Contractor Engagement Fee - $62.50 per week until $2.500 and full refundable after 12 months
• Operating ESO - $.08 per mile and cap at $10,000 (maintenance/downtime account)
• Fuel and Mileage Tax - $0.0125 per mile
• Pre-Pass - $4.00 per week 
• Trans-flo - $10.00 per week
• Additional Cost: Scales, Truck washers, tolls, tickets, MVR, garnishments, fuel, oil, DOT physicals, TWIC/escort fees, load locks, and ANY maintenance repairs or costs MUST be paid by the Contractor.

Home time, Route & Schedule

• Home Time: Choose your home time, most drivers are home for 3-4 days every 3 weeks
  • Average weekly miles - 2,450 - 3,000
• Route:  Primary Power Lanes (I-80, I-90 and I-94) but we run all 48 states
• 100% no touch freight

Equipment

• Drive a Brand New 2022 - 2024 Freightliner Cascadia
• Bumper to Bumper Maintenance Program
• EW4 and TC4 coverage
• 4 year - 450,000 mile chassis warranty
• 4 year - 500,000 mile engine warranty
• Must have physical damage insurance, bobtail/non-trucking liability, occupational accident coverage, general liability coverage

Qualification

• Must have valid CDL A License
• 23 years of age
• Minimum 1 year over the road experience
  • At least 6 monthgs of reefer or dry can experience in the last 36 months
• Clean MVR and driving history
• Solid work history
• Clean background
• Operates under SOAR authority
• Must reside in one of the following locations: TN (Memphis & Nashville only), OK, AR, TX  (Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio only)
