Responsible for Tier I software and hardware support. Diagnoses and resolves problems using documented procedures and checklists in the performance of most responsibilities. Enters call data into a tracking system. Escalates problems to higher level technical support professionals when necessary. Assists in the resolution of application, hardware and software problems. Performs hardware and software installations in the Central Office and all stores.
Typically has 1 to 2 years of IT work experience in computer systems or support with demonstrated working knowledge of basic hardware and software products and problem solving/troubleshooting skills.
Additionally, the individual should have the following knowledge:
• Install/Support Windows 7, 8.x, 10 computer and POS systems statewide in ABC stores and the Central Office
• Configure network connections (routers and switch configurations) and access to redirect folders
• Reestablish access to Office 2016 software suite and other applications as needed
• Experience in conducting routine system maintenance tasks
• Maintain and input in system maintenance logs
• Maintain and input issue tracking ticket system.
