Compile and analyze monthly service fee invoice, including pass-through billing information to assist with the monthly accounting close.
Work with accounts payable and other teams to correct coding of invoices.
Create service fee invoice with required back up, enter into People Soft and issue it to Business Manager, Municipalities and others
Prepare and enter journal entries
Interact with relevant parties in case of clarification or questions related to service fee invoice
Prepare expense vouchers with appropriate BU and a/c code.
Support Revenue Manager – Operations accounting with analysis, forecasts, and other requests as needed.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts in a timely manner.
Interact with internal and external auditors to assist with audits.
Comply with company policies and procedures, maintain documentation for key controls.
Maintain and update related process documentation position procedures
Bachelors Degree Accounting or related technical discipline
Minimum 3 years relevant experience
- Knowledge of general accounting principles.
- Ability to research and address complex transactions and apply proper accounting.
Strong computer skills including use of Excel and PowerPoint. PeopleSoft a plus.
Experience with Longview, Hyperion or other similar reporting tools.
Excellent analytical, organization, and communication skills.
